The Bellevue State Park  is located  just about 2 and a half miles  South of Bellevue. The park is composed of 770 acres of everything that nature has to offer. It is divided into 2 separate tracts, :  the Nelson Unit and the Dyas Unit. The former unit is intended for hikers as it offers four different hiking trails while the latter is intended for camping. High bluffs in the park give guess a chance to marvel at the beautiful site of the Mississippi River. A butterfly sanctuary and an enclosed nature center in the area are just a few of the many things that on must not miss out while in the park.
