Wolfpack Chassis Receives Seed Money

Wolfpack Chassis is a startup venture operating out of Kendallville, Indiana. They recently received $755,000 in seed funding from Elevate Ventures and other private investors. Elevate’s $9.5 million Indiana Angel Network Fund (IANF) is the source of the investment in Wolfpack Chassis. The IANF goal is to provide seed money to companies that “show the promise of solid market potential and are capable of accelerated growth to high-value exits.”

With the help of the seed money, Wolfpack Chassis is looking to hire 20 skilled welders and frame builders for assembly line work. Their plan is to expand their manufacturing to eventually include trailers and Class A chassis. In addition they intend to manufacture other chassis related components. These components will include slide-out mechanisms. Production on Wolfpack Chassis’ first chassis and chassis components will start soon. They have leased space and intend to produce prototypes within the next week.

In return for its investment, Elevate received one seat on the Wolfpack Chassis board. The investment was the culmination of work done by Elevate’s Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs), who worked with Wolfpack’s company executives to help them with both information and resources through the process of obtaining seed money.
