Tumacacori National Historic Park

Looking for a unique RV destination? Consider Tumacacori National Historic Park in Arizona. There are a number of campgrounds in the general area including De AnzaTrail RV Park, Mountain View RV Park, Patagonia Lake State Park and White Rock Campground.

The region that is home to Tumacacori National Historic Park has a long history of Spanish missions, a melting pot of inhabitants and a rich tradition of flavorful local foods. Visitors can explore the Tumacacori mission grounds, visit museums, sample the spicy local food and enjoy unique native music.

Three miles north of Tumacacori, be sure to visit Tubac Presidio State Historic Park. There you can trace the expedition route followed by Juan Bautista de Anza who led his party to establish an outpost which eventually became San Francisco. The route is now a national historic trail.
