Kings Mountain National Military Park

The Revolutionary War battle site at Kings Mountain National Military Park, South Carolina marks the place that Thomas Jefferson called “the turn of the tide of success”. It was at this site that 900 Patriot militiamen defeated 1000 Loyalist militia and 120 Royal Provincials.
