Bully Dog Engine Tuner

Fifth wheel owners strive to find the best possible truck for towing. There are certain factors that come into play during this search. The need exists for power, but most owners would also like something that can be driven on a regular basis without costing a fortune in fuel.

Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 is a popular choice. It offers decent fuel economy with adequate towing capability. The Bully Dog company has come up with a modification to make the EcoBoost even better. They demonstrated the tuner at their yearly Dog Days of Summer event by comparing two identical Ford F-150s. One was left as is, the other was equipped with Bully Dog’s Rapid Flow Cold Air Intake and GT Gas tuner. The demonstration showed a gain of 83 horsepower for the Bully Dog equipped truck. In a towing race over a 500 foot course, the modified truck again won easily. The tuner is designed to control fuel delivery while also optimizing horsepower and torque.

Those who live in states like California where smog checks are required should know that the California Air Resources Board approval is still pending. Bully Dog provides a variety of performance products for other brands and models as well.
