Squirrel Creek State Recreational Site is located near Glennallen in the Copper Valley. The park is easy to find adjacent to the highway. This small campground is bounded by Squirrel Creek on one side, a river to the east, and a small lake to the south.

    To the owners of squirrl creek campgeound… I think it is
    Very sad what you did to a dog that was staying there in the owners RV while he was at work. Obvisally someone let the dog out of the RV in which wasn’t the owner…and for you to shoot him 5 times in the head was a little out of controll. That is clearlt a sign of animal abuse and not self defence. I hope thathat the owner of the dog presses charges of animal abuseon you. I work for an animal rescue and have seen several abise cases and have heard many stories, but this one I
    is an open sign for a heartless, lieing animal abuser. And I hope justice is served. I will also NEVER camp at your site nor will I not advise my family and friends of what kind of campsite your place is…..How SAD!!!!!!!!!!
