Campground Contributes to Ronald McDonald House Charities

SantaLights

Every Christmas season the Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort hosts the Santa Claus Land of Lights Family Christmas Light Adventure. The event is a drive-through light show and tickets are sold to in a partnership with McDonalds.

Tickets are offered at participating McDonald’s and in turn, a portion of the proceeds goes to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Over the past four years, RMHC has received over $38,000 from the Lake Rudolph light show.

Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Ohio Valley offer a supportive environment for families who are dealing with a child who is critically ill. They serve as a temporary residence near the hospital or other medical facilities. Family members can stay, receive meals and relax with other families facing the same issues.

The Santa Claus Land of Lights show is open from 5pm to 9pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until the 8th of December. Starting December 13th, the light show is open nightly through New Year’s Eve. It is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
